Oluwole Olalandu

Oluwole earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), complemented by two master's degrees: one in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ilorin; and the other in Public Health (MPH) from Obafemi Awolowo University. He has enriched his expertise through attending various local and international training courses/programs over the years. His career is distinguished by a breadth of experience in both public and private sectors, contributing significantly to organizations across diverse industries. Oluwole is well read and vastly knowledgeable.

Oluwole commenced his career at the Rumon Group (Brian Munro, SKG-Pharma, IEA Industries) as a Medical Representative, covering five greenfield states in western Nigeria. In addition to medical sales, he spearheaded and was accountable for the marketing and sales efforts for spirits; Diageo brands, FMCG and household items such as Colgate Palmolive, Strive and Gossamer... His progression within Rumon Group included promotions to Senior Medical Representative and then to Trade Brand Manager.

Post-Rumon Group, he had stints in the downstream oil and automobile industries. But Oluwole would later join UAC of Nigeria Plc as Training Services Manager. In this role, he strategically developed the human resources of over 6,000 staff within the UACN group.

Recognized for his leadership and strategic acumen, he was reassigned within UACN Plc to MDS Logistics (Division of UAC) as General Manager – Pharma. Here, he excelled in leading the pharmaceutical business, significantly shaping the outsourced logistics segment of Nigeria's pharmaceutical sector. His business development initiatives resulted in securing unprecedented long-term contracts with global blue-chip companies such as GSK, Pfizer, Roche, and Sanofi Aventis…

Oluwole joined John Snow Inc. (JSI) as Senior Warehouse & Distribution Advisor on United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s SCMS & DELIVER projects. His exceptional performance led to his promotion to Director – Supply Chain Operations, overseeing strategic global logistics operations including international and local procurements, air charters, sea freight, warehousing, distribution, transport, and last-mile delivery.

Following the successful completion of these projects in 2016, he joined Chemonics (SAII Associates) on USAID’s Global Health Supply Chain Programme – Procurement Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project, serving as Director - Deliver & Return overseeing a larger portfolio of operations on the new consolidated USAID project.

Most recently, before joining NAHCO, Oluwole held the role of Supply Chain Lead at Sonedis Nigeria, focusing on optimizing supply chain operations.
